The Professional Client

For the busy solicitor' s practice time can be of the essence! If you have a privately funded client who is involved in 'family law' litigation why not sub-contract the statement/questionnaire preparation to us? Leaving us to do the work frees you to maximise your practice income by 'freeing' up staff to see other clients whilst the documentation preparation is safe in our hands. All work is prepared by lawyers with a minimum of 10 years experience of family law litigation. You can send us your own conference notes, or as many clients chose to do, their own notes and supporting documentation and we can prepare the statement for you.

Alternatively we can have a telephone conference with the client to take full instructions, saving you even more time. This can be outside normal business hours to suit the client.

For ancillary relief applications let us do the 'hard work' trawling through all the disclosure including bank statements, credit card statements etc. We can produce a comprehensive questionnaire for filing at court in time for the FDA, avoiding the risk of an adverse costs order against the practice.

We aim to complete the work within 48 hours of receiving full instructions, subject to the complexity of the case involved.

The Litigant in Person

More and more people are choosing to represent themselves in court either making applications or alternatively defending an application brought by someone else. The preparation of statements, and exhibiting relevant evidence or even the preparation of a questionnaire in money matters can seem quite daunting.

Nevertheless these documents are necessary tools of your case and it is important to make as good an impression on a Judge from the outset. As experienced lawyers of at least 10 years family courts experience we know how to draft a statement to optimise the strengths of a client's case.

We can produce a document which will be in the correct format, will be concise yet containing all the relevant information you wish to present to the court and also (which is often the most difficult part of preparing a statement)...leaving out irrelevant information!

After your initial contact with us we will arrange a telephone conference with you, at a time of the day or evening to suit you to obtain all the information which will be necessary for the preparation of the statement. It may be necessary for you to send documentation for us to complete the work and this can be done by email or fax. All instructions and information are confidential.

Phone or email us for more information or to arrange a time to discuss your requirements.

Please Note

We are not a legal advice service. If you want advice about making an application, the merit of your case, what evidence you will need or how to present your case in court then you need to seek specialist advice from a solicitor, CAB or a legal advice clinic.
